The Core of the Orion Nebula - M42

The Orion Nebula is a diffuse nebula situated in the Milky Way, being south of Orion's Belt in the constellation of Orion. It is one of the brightest nebulae, and is visible to the naked eye in the night sky. It is 1,344 ± 20 light-years away and is the closest region of massive star formation to Earth. The M42 nebula is estimated to be 24 light years across

Total Exposure Time 2 hours using red, green and blue filters and adding Ha hydrogen data. The Equipment used was Pier 1 @roboscopes which is a AD250 10" f6.8 Dall-Kirkham Telescope. As a camera I used the FLI ML-8300 Mono CCD 2x2 Binned. Focal length was 1700mm.
